My Home, Different Style

Kayla just got off from a long day at work. All she wanted to do is to go ho, lay on he comfortable couch, fix a good dinner, and watch television on her flat screen T.V.
She approached her house and it is pitch black.
"I thought I left my lights on," she told herself.
Kayla walked up to her house. She unlocked the door and turned the lights on.
"This is weird," she said. "Why is my living room lamp off."
She walked in the living room, turn on the light and saw everything gone. Everything in her living room was gone and replaced.
Her flat screen was replaced with a old school TV with antennas. Her couch was replaced with a wooden bench. Her refrigerator was raided and replaced with rocks and cups full of mud. Her walls were painted white and had crayon markings all over them.
Panicking, Kayla called the police crying.
"911 emergency," the police answered.
"Hi, my nam is Kayla," she said. "My house has been broken into. They stole everything out of my living room and replaced them with other things. I don't know what to do because I have know clue who would do this."
"Where do you live," the police said.
"1864 Glover street," Kayla responded.
"Police have been dispatched," the police said.
"Thank you," she replied.
Kayla hung up the phone and she began to cry. Crocodile tears were rolling down her face when the policemen and woman came to her front steps.
"Sorry about the break in," the police woman said. "We are going to go around see if we can get any fingerprints from where they removed your belongings."
"Okay, great," Kayla replied.
The police were working, searching the house for prints while Kayla sat on the cold wooden bench they put in her house.
The police woman sat beside her.
"What is your name," the police woman asked.
"Kayla," she answered. "Kayla Cattely."
The police woman looked up at her coworkers and smiled.
"Kayla, this was done on purpose," the police woman said.
She was stunned.
"What do you mean," Kayla asked.
"You know that show "Mess it up,Fix it up"," the policewoman asked.
"Yeah, Kayla replied.
"Well you were chosen," the policewoman said. "They messed up your house to fix it up."
Kayla wiped her face and laughed. People came barging through her front door.
"Hello, Kayla," they said. "Welcome to "Mess it up, Fix it up"."
Cameras and video camera's were everywhere.
"We have some special people here with us also," they said.
Turning around, she sees her mom, dad, and her sister standing behind the camera.
She smiled. "Y'all knew about this the whole time?"
"Yes we did," her parents replied.
Kayla stood there stunned about everything that happened.
"I thought my house was broken into," she said."Just to find out that I'm getting a renovation. Thank you."
She gave them a big hug with the hugest  smile on her face.
