Dear Diary,
Today was an interesting day, in a good way. I woke up and got out of bed. On the way out of my room I tripped over a book. I picked it up as nd opened it to find that it was my great - great grandmothers', Louise Anne Jones. I was determined to read the whole book today, so I went to make myself some breakfast and poured me a cup of orange juice, sat down on the couch and began reading. The book was old and beat up, but I decided to read it anyway. My great - great grandmother passed away when I was born so I do not know anything about her other then the stories my grandmother and my mom would tell me. I began reading and I was shocked about half the things that she did when she was about my age. Starting at the age of 7 years old , she lived in France for 2 years, Africa for 1 year, China for 5 years, and Egypt for 1 year. Her father traveled the world for his job and she went along with him. Her mother passed away when she was 6 years old. You can tell by her writing sometimes that she was depressed about losing her mom. She would write poems all the time about how she wishes that her mom was with her traveling and could see all the incredible things she has done.
I kept reading her journal excerpts and I came across one that really inspired me to be what I want to be now. She wrote about her dream to be a womens sports writer and a sports broadcatster. She wanted to be a fashion designer also. Louise Anne would draw pictures of her designs on the side of her paper so she couls see her creations.

She was very adventurous, outgoing, and she loved everything in the world. Flowers, brds, dogs and cats; she loved them all. I am glad I tripped over that book because if I didn't, I would not know anything about my great-great grandmother, Louise Anne Jones.
Sincerely,
Mone' Jones
